Scoring

Scoring Options

Choose how strongly to reward correct guesses and successful bluffs while keeping totals easy to apply before the next round starts.

Scoring Options

The shipped round rewards two different skills inside /game: finding the true definition and fooling other players with a believable fake one.

Core scoring ideas

  • Give points for a correct guess
  • Give points when someone chooses your fake definition
  • Keep both the round result and the running total visible before the next round starts

Three easy scoring presets

Balanced

  • 1 point for a correct guess
  • 1 point for each opponent fooled by your fake definition

Guess-heavy

  • 2 points for a correct guess
  • 1 point for each successful bluff

Bluff-heavy

  • 1 point for a correct guess
  • 2 points for each successful bluff

What to remember about the Game Master

  • The Game Master keeps the true definition private for that round
  • The Game Master does not submit a fake definition during that same round

Title options

If you want more than one winner announcement, add side titles at the end of the session.

  • Overall winner: highest total score
  • One practical split is to award "Насос" for the best bluff score and "Баллон" for the best guessing score
  • If your group already uses those labels differently, agree on the mapping before round one and keep it consistent

What to settle before the first round

  • Which scoring preset you are using
  • Whether you are tracking titles in addition to total points
  • How you break ties in the final standings
